Tom’s Hash Explorer v1.2: Now with Batch File Verification
I am happy to announce that Tom’s Hash Explorer v1.2 is released and available for download from the application’s homepage. The most significant update in this release is the introduction of Batch File Verification. You may already be familiar with the batch hashing functionality that allows you to compute hash values for entire folders. Now you can save those results and later use the “Verify Against Saved Results” feature to compare current hash results with those previously saved.
When you verify against saved results you’ll be able to easily identify new files that have been added to a folder after the previous results were saved, files that have been moved or deleted, files that have been modified, and files that are identical to saved results.
